We now have the screening dates for what is arguably the most important film of the year – I.O.U.S.A. Dubbed ‘The Next Inconvenient Truth’ (by Reuters), this Sundance Selected Film from film-maker Patrick Creadon, (Wordplay 2006) sets out the impending financial crisis facing the United States as it battles growing federal and consumer debt. It’s about an issue which is now affecting us all and analyses it’s origins as well as putting forth some solutions, look out for reviews. For more info see the Official Site and Wikipedia. We’ve just got the dates through for our next theatrical release - In Prison My Whole Life– which will be at Picturehouse cinemas nationwide from the 25th of October. This is a huge event-film about death-row inmate Mumia Abu Jamal, backed by Amnesty International and featuring Alice Walker, Snoop Dogg and Mos Deff. For more info see the Official Site.
